Pupil Premium Reviews
We are delighted to be able to offer Pupil Premium Reviews.
A pupil premium review uses an evidence-based approach to assess how a school is spending its pupil premium funding, and identify the most effective interventions and overall strategy.
A review should be led by an experienced, independent system leader with a track record in improving outcomes for disadvantaged children. The review process should be led by an NCTL accredited and trained reviewer. Painsley Teaching School is one of only 3 schools nationally accredited with Pupil Premium Reviewer Training Centre status, designated by NCTL. In addition to completing reviews, we have trained over 70 NLEs in the review process.
The process involves a rigorous and tested 6 step framework, enabling schools to make the most of the review and find the best ways to raise the attainment of their pupils in reciept of the premium. The framework has been written with Painsley Teaching School, the NCTL, DfE and Endowment Education Fund.
Typically, a review involves 3-4 days engagement with a school, spread over 2-6 months.
